MSI paraded three concept all-in-ones (AIOs) at last month's Consumer Electronics Show. A 24-inch 3D Wind Top was also among that very intriguing trio. The 3D Wind Top is now going to get another opportunity to wow tech-savvy onlookers at CeBIT 2010, which begins on March 2, 2010 in Hannover, Germany.

The 3D AIO will feature a 24-inch 120Hz LED display and full HD resolution, with the 3D shutter glasses included with the PC quite literally adding another “dimension” to the home entertainment experience. However, nothing is known about the innards of  the“world's first large screen, full HD 3D all-in-one PC.”

“MSI's Wind Top All-in-One 3D PC integrates advanced 3D display technology with powerful CPU processing to deliver smooth, clear and vibrant 3D images with a high level of image detail and clarity," the company announced.

When you think of Onkyo, you probably picture surround sound receivers and other home theater accessories, but as it turns out, the company also dabbles in home PCs. Once of those includes the just-announced DE411 all-in-one desktop.

A pretty impressive PC on paper, the DE411 boasts a 21.5-inch 1080p Full HD display. Inside the sleek looking AIO sits a dual-core Intel Atom 330 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, Nvidia's GeForce 9400M Ion graphics, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive. You'll also find a DVD burner, digital TV tuner, 5W speakers, Wi-Fi, multiformat memory card reader, and a handful of USB 2.0 ports.

Looking short term, Onkyo plans to release the DE411 in Japan for about $985. At that price, we'd like to see a touchscreen included, and so far, there isn't any mention of there being one. There's also no mention of whether or not Onkyo plans on shipping this one to the U.S. market.

Lenovo has introduced three new value systems rocking AMD CPUs and graphics. The C315 is a stylish little all-in-one set up, and the G445 and G555 are laptops. Lenovo is making no mistake about the message here. “Our new G series notebooks and C series all-in-one desktop are designed for users who want a simple but powerful computing experience without any headaches,” said Lenovo’s Dion Weisler.
 
The C315 will have a fairly large 20 inch widescreen display with touchscreen technology built in. It will have an Athlon dual-core CPU, 4GB of RAM, and ATI Radeon Mobility graphics. At $649, this isn’t a bad deal at all. It’s sort of a budget HP TouchSmart machine.

The laptops look like nice values as well. Both will have 16:9 widescreen displays and Turion II dual-core CPUs. Radeon HD graphics are, of course, also on board. Lenovo did not detail what specs would differentiate the two units, which makes us curious as they both have the same MSRP of $449. Keep an eye on this if you're looking for a deal on a system and power isn't tops on your list.

Asus is apparently making plans to release their first Pine Trail powered all-in-one PC. The Eee Top ET1610PT will come equipped with the fairly new Intel Atom D410 single core CPU, and of course, Intel integrated graphics. The PC will have a 15.6 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1600x900. It will also come equipped with 802.11n Wi-Fi, which is a nice feature on a low end machine.

Strangely, this new PC will come with Windows XP preinstalled. You read that right, no Windows 7 on this bad boy. The presence of that touchscreen display makes the decision to go with XP just that much more baffling. The machine is expected to go for 400 Euros when is ships.

Computer maker MSI is showing off some interesting new PC designs at CES this week. First off, MSI is jumping on the 3D craze with a 3D all-in-one PC. The system will, of course, require glasses, but MSI assures us they will be “comfortable”. The PC will have a reasonably sized 24-inch display. This is designed for 3D gaming and movie viewing.

A second all-in-one is a standard LED backlit LCD, but the case has a bit of a trick. This new concept PC allows users to slide up the screen and store the keyboard behind the screen when not in use. The mouse is also a wireless remote and IP phone.

The final new computer is a fairly interesting one, a projector PC. This is a small form factor PC with a projector in the same case. The projector will apparently be capable of HD resolution. There will be an adjustable stand that holds the case up like any PC, then folds down to point the lens at a wall. Keep an eye out should any of these become real products.

If you’ve ever looked into small form factor PCs, you’ve probably looked at a Shuttle PC. Shuttle is showing off some small form factors (SFF) at CES, but also has a new all-in-one desktop as well. The SFF PCs fall into a number of categories, from entry-level to surprisingly robust gaming systems.

The SG41J1 is a low end PC based on the G41 chipset and runs Core2 Quad CPUs. You’ll get integrated Intel graphics on this model. The next step up is the SH55J2 which has the Intel H55 supporting both Core i3 and Core i5 CPUs, but still just integrated graphics here. If you’re out for performance in your tiny PC, the SX58HJ3 is the way to go. It will run Core i7 CPUs and somehow has room for a CrossFireX or Nvidia SLI setup.

Stepping a bit out of their comfort zone, Shuttle is also showing off their now Shuttle X50 V2 all-in-one. It will have a dual-core Atom and Intel GMA graphics. No availability or pricing information was released.

MSI on Wednesday announced it has begun shipping its new Wind Top AE2220 all-in-one desktop PC. The AE2220 takes its place as MSI's flagship all-in-one and expands the company's fast growing Wind Top series.

"The MSI Wind Top is an awesome all-purpose family PC. Share photos, edit videos, play games, watch HD video -- our Ion graphics processor means you can have it all," said Drew Henry, general manger for Ion and GeForce products at Nvidia.

In addition to the Ion platform, the AE2220 boasts an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 processor clocked at 2.2GHz (Pentium dual-core T4300 also available), a 21.5-inch multitouch display, 4GB of DDR2-800 memory, a 500GB hard drive, optional Blu-ray player, 1.3MP webcam, built-in 6-in-1 card reader, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, two mini-PCI-E expansion slots, IR receiver, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

The new all-in-one is still a no-show at most retailers, though Amazon still has it listed for pre-order for $700.

The all-in-one PC segment is now experiencing its share of Windows 7-induced buzz. MSI has announced three new entrants into its Wind Top family of all-in-one PCs, all of which are based on Nvidia’s Ion platform and support Windows 7. 

The 21.5-inch Wind Top AE2220 is all set to hit the market in late October, with the launch of the 20-inch AE2020 and the 21.5-inch AE2220 Hi-Fi expected next month. According to a Digitimes report, the AE2220 features full HD output besides HDMI and VGA ports for hooking up game consoles and other devices.

The same report pegs its price at just a shade over $1000 (NT$35,000). HP, Gateway and Acer are other notable names that have already announced similar offerings which support Windows 7.
