I also nominate Sangaku for best photo. Sangaku is stunning by itself but it sure doesn’t hurt to have a “suitable for framing” photo to go along with it.

Deets

Complete with sliding shoji doors and a hand watercolored painting, Sangaku is a real work of art. It took 300 hours to build over a period of 9 months and has already been in magazines and online publications including Maximum PC. It is fully custom made using mostly Japanese hand tools. The materials consist of Mahogany, Spruce, and black acrylic for the interior frame which holds the components.
