I love superheroes. I also love computers. It made absolutely no sense for me to go on in life without a Spiderman computer. I decided that with the release of the Spiderman 3 movie, I would make the Venom Ooze case as my dedication to the ol’ Peter Parker. The plan started out by buying a sheet of 26 gauge zinc sheet metal and cutting the Spiderman “3” and black suit spider out to place on the case. The case was then sanded and painted with a red/black fade. Marks were made for spider webbing, and black caulk was used to trace these lines. The caulk was then hand-painted silver for the webbing, and left black for the Venom Ooze. The “3” was placed on the front of the case, the spider was placed on a sheet of Plexiglas and cut out, and 5 super bright LEDs were installed to light it up. A liquid cooling system was installed with a Alphacool Cape Bullseye reservoir with blood red coolant and red UV dye. The 3/8” tubing was then given the same Venom ooze, and UV cathodes were installed to light it up. The side fan grill was replaced with a spider grill, and voila, I present you Venom Ooze.
