This is my very first case. Before I built this I had never even attempted modify an existing case. The idea for this build started about three years ago when I decided that I wanted to build a pyramid shaped case entirely out of acrylic and metal framing. Well, the pyramid didn’t work out, but the thought of a custom built acrylic case was stuck in my head. Unfortunately after the pyramid failed, I entered high school, and got a job which made it quite difficult to find time to build a case. Finally senior year rolled around, and I had nothing better to do overbreak so I started to plan this case and order parts

The case’s unique shape comes from my love of heavy metal. (the music) it’s subtle, but if you look closely you will realize that the case is in the shape of the international hand gesture for metal. Ok, its a stretch, and not really true at all but oh well. The truth is that I just wanted to have a case of a different shape, and this is one of the many ways that I could accomplish this goal and still have the case fit on my desk. I designed this case with simplicity in mind, and tried to stay away from the paint jobs and engravings that are seen on so many cases today. I wanted to have something that would catch a persons attention, but not look ugly or awkward on top of a desk. You will also notice that only their are only a few lights on the inside of the case. This is because it is meant to be kept in a dorm or a bedroom and therefore should not keep a person up if it is left on overnight.
