Hey just a quick qustion,
Hey just a quick qustion, you said Makrolon can be shaped without heat. Do you just apply pressure to shape it?

As an STE fan (yes, there are a few of us around), I can definitely see the influence, especially when it’s lit. Very nice. Tucker would be proud.
For future entries, I would suggest including more photos showing front, back, sides and internal layout.

A mod inspired by the TV series Star Trek Enterprise (Yes, I know it does’nt show, lol).
Construction:
The framework is made from 10×20mm square tubing, and most of the internals are Acrylic / Bayer Makrolon (Polycarbonate).
All outer panels are made from 3mm Aluminium which I used my best effords to give a brushed look. They were all cut using a Jigsaw.
The design also incorporates two USB-IDE controllers (1 on each side), to add some functionality to the case. Kinda regret I did’nt go for SATA though… Oh well :)

Yup that’s right. One thing you should know it that the material has a “memory”, so if you want a 90degree bend, you’ll have to bend it more like 120degrees (just an example).
