Lupine was built for my wife as a “Thank you” present to thank her for letting me spend so much time on my modding hobby. It was featured in the Coolermaster Case mod competition a few years ago, then was featured on a CPU magazine cover. The whole premise of the mod was to cover my wife’s favorite animal, the wolf, and her favorite color, purple, and find a way to combine the two items. Lupine has a diorama side panel for the windo that has a wolf standing on a rocky mountain top. It is howling to the laser etched moon on the window. The moon is lit with 4 white LED’s off the side of the frame, The moon is a vibrant white, which in turn lights the “wolf spirit” that I put in the sky near the moon. I also built a wolf spirit and mounted it in the 5.25” bays under the optical drive. The trim, the internal frame and several fan accent fan guards were sprayed with purple Duplicolor Metalcast paint, and the power supply was covered in a chrome vinyl that made it look like it had been chrome plated. All of the cables were stealthed and a custom power cable created with black 90 degree molexes and black electrical lines, and then wrapped in purple spiral cable management.
